According to the latest reports, the brand-new Suzuki Swift is set to receive its official availability in October 2023. The initial market rollout will commence in Asian regions, encompassing countries like Japan and India. It is anticipated to reach additional global markets by the conclusion of this year. The impending vehicle has been sighted flaunting novel design elements, indicating its readiness to advance into the production phase. This iteration is poised to bring forth noteworthy enhancements compared to the fifth-generation Suzuki Swift. Let’s delve into the details.

The fresh model showcases a lower and more compact posture. It is anticipated to flaunt a wider front grille, complemented by streamlined headlamps and tail lamps. Along the sides, the upcoming hatchback embraces subdued contours. Notably, it omits the C-pillar black tape, a feature contributing to the current version’s floating roof aesthetic. At the rear, the vehicle presents beefier haunches extending beyond the fenders, engendering a broader appearance. The rear window panels also appear more expansive, engendering an illusion of increased cabin space. Furthermore, the forthcoming iteration has been sighted with more erect pillars. Notably, the rear door handles have found their position on the door panels.

Anticipations point to the forthcoming iteration being equipped with a 1.2-liter four-cylinder K12C Dualjet petrol engine, capable of generating 90 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. As for its transmission, it is set to offer both a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox. Enriching its feature repertoire will be a 9-inch Smartplay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system, accompanied by a head-up display, a wireless charger, and an array of six airbags for enhanced safety. Moreover, the new Swift is likely to draw inspiration from the latest Baleno and Brezza models, integrating some novel attributes into its ensemble.
