The revamped Kia Seltos facelift introduces a more commanding front grille, now larger in dimensions. The headlamps have undergone a reimagining, featuring fresh daytime running LEDs that stretch towards the center of the grille. A notable alteration can be observed in the fog lamps, which now sport vertical LED lights enclosed within glossy black housings. The facelifted Seltos showcases a unique design for its 18-inch machined alloy wheels, also available in the HTX+ variant of the Tech-Line version.
At the rear, Kia has instilled changes in the tail lamps, introducing modified LED inserts that are interconnected by an LED light bar spanning the width of the boot lid.
Turning to the interior, the cabin of the updated Seltos has undergone a comprehensive transformation, resulting in a more contemporary aesthetic and augmented features. The driver’s command center retains the three-spoke, multi-functional, flat-bottom, leather-wrapped steering wheel with both tilt and telescopic adjustability. Notably, a fresh curved full-TFT cockpit has been introduced, accommodating two distinct 10.25-inch screens for the instrument console and touchscreen infotainment system.
Kia has diligently elevated the safety quotient of the new Seltos by integrating a comprehensive suite of standard safety features. The SUV is endowed with six airbags, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), brake assist, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), VSM (Vehicle Stability Management), and all-around disc brakes, engendering a sense of command and safeguarding on the road. Additionally, hill assist control and rear parking sensors contribute to parking convenience and bolster driver confidence.
For those opting for higher variants, the Seltos offers supplementary safety enhancements. These encompass traction control with multiple modes, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) level 2 features, a 360-degree camera, and a blind view monitor. These advanced safety measures position the Seltos as a distinguished contender for one of the safest SUVs in its segment.
