The BMW X6 M50d is scheduled to be on sale in the United States in February 2023 at a price range of around $180,600 to $205,700.

The X6 M is propelled by the same loud twin-turbo 4.4-liter V-8 as the BMW M5 car. In its stock configuration, it generates 600 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque, and with the Competition package, it generates 617 horsepower. The powertrain is coupled to an adaptive all-wheel-drive system via an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The X6 M has a combined city/highway fuel economy of 13 mpg. These specs match those of the X5 M exactly. Neither Bimmer has been available for testing on our 75 mph highway fuel-economy route, thus we cannot at this time determine how efficient they are under actual driving conditions.

Inside, the X6 M combines sportiness with opulence thanks to carbon fiber highlights and standard leather upholstery. A 12.3-inch completely digital gauge cluster and a sizable head-up display ensure that cutting-edge technology is not lacking. In addition, there are comforts like massage-capable front seats with temperature regulation, heated back seats, and other perks.
