If you’re in the market for a value-packed, high-performing compact SUV, the recently launched Nissan Magnite in India is worth your consideration. Designed to meet the surging demand for budget-friendly yet stylish SUVs in the Indian market, the Magnite, starting with its base model XE EMI, goes head-to-head with competitors such as the Tata Punch, Renault Kiger, and Hyundai Exter.
The Nissan Magnite is offered in four distinct variants: XE, XL, XV, and XV Premium. Starting at an attractive price of Rs. 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in Delhi, the base variant XE provides an affordable entry point. Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line XV Premium (O) Turbo CVT, which comes with a host of premium features, is priced at Rs. 11.02 lakh (ex-showroom) in Delhi.
Under the hood, the Magnite offers two engine choices. The first is a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, capable of delivering 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque. The second option is a more powerful 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, generating 99 bhp and 160 Nm of torque (152 Nm for CVT). Buyers can select between a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic transmission to suit their preferences and driving style.
