Mahindra has implemented another round of price increases for its well-received Scorpio-N SUV. The base model of the Mahindra Scorpio-N, which was initially launched in July 2022 at a price of Rs. 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom), experienced an earlier price hike of Rs. 1 lakh earlier this year. Presently, the popular SUV starts at Rs. 13.76 lakh (ex-showroom), with the top-end variant commanding a price of Rs. 24.53 lakh (ex-showroom). Let’s delve deeper into the details.
Prices Up By Upto Rs 81,000
The Mahindra Scorpio N lineup includes five trims: Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8, and Z8L, catering to both six- and seven-seater configurations. Customers can choose between two engine options and opt for either 4×4 or 4×2 configurations. It’s worth noting that the 4×4 option is exclusively available with the diesel engine variant and is not offered for the Z2 model. In total, the Mahindra Scorpio N boasts an impressive lineup of up to 30 variants.
The recent price adjustments vary across the lineup. For instance, the base petrol variant has seen a price increase of Rs. 52,199, while the Mahindra Scorpio N Z8L Diesel AT 2WD seven-seater variant has only been raised by Rs. 1,995, now retailing at Rs. 24.53 lakh (ex-showroom). The most substantial price hike, amounting to Rs. 81,000, has been applied to the Z4 Diesel MT 4WD seven-seater (E) variant. Despite these adjustments, the Scorpio N continues to offer an enticing package.
Mahindra Scorpio N Specs
The Mahindra Scorpio N remains a popular SUV choice with its robust engine options. It is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder mStallion turbo petrol engine delivering an impressive 175 bhp of peak power and a substantial 400 Nm of maximum torque. Alternatively, customers can opt for the 2.2-liter four-cylinder mHawk turbo diesel engine, which generates a formidable 203 bhp of peak power and up to 380 Nm of max torque. Both engine choices can be mated to either a standard six-speed manual transmission or a smooth six-speed torque converter automatic.
The Scorpio N offers a variety of color options, including Deep Forest, Grand Canyon, Everest White, Dazzling Silver, Napoli Black, Red Rage, and Royal Gold, allowing buyers to choose their preferred style.
Built on a new ladder frame chassis, the Mahindra Scorpio N brings several upgrades over its predecessor. Notable features include 18-inch alloy wheels, black leather seat upholstery, multiple airbags for safety, connected technology, built-in Amazon Alexa, and a multifunctional steering wheel.
