The imminent launch of the Toyota Rumion is creating a buzz, and Toyota is stoking the excitement by unveiling an official video of the MPV across its social media platforms. The recently released visual advertisement for the Rumion by Toyota offers a comprehensive look at the premium features awaiting customers, all displayed in the vibrant Spunky Blue color choice.
Although the Toyota Rumion shares its core with the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Toyota has added subtle tweaks to the MPV’s front profile, as showcased in the video. In a direct comparison with the Ertiga, the Rumion flaunts a distinct front grille adorned with chrome accents, drawing inspiration from the pre-facelift Innova Crysta.
Moreover, the Toyota Rumion’s front bumper boasts an individualized design, featuring revised housings for the fog lamps and a lower air dam enriched with a chrome trim. Further modifications applied to the new Toyota Rumion vis-à-vis the Ertiga include uniquely designed 15-inch machined alloy wheels and distinct badges at the rear. Nevertheless, the wraparound tail lamps with LED inserts maintain consistency.
The video advertisement for the fresh Toyota Rumion also spotlights several prominent interior features of the MPV, which will be accessible in its top-tier V variant. The Rumion is portrayed with amenities such as a push start-stop button, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control featuring rear AC vents, a TFT MID in the instrument console, and paddle shifters. Notably, the instrument console’s MID showcases a fuel efficiency rating of 20.51 kmpl, hinting at the possibility of the Rumion boasting a claimed fuel efficiency of 20.51 kmpl.
Will feature the same engine as Ertiga
In conjunction with the vibrant Spunky Blue color option presented in the promotional video, the Toyota Rumion will be obtainable in a range of captivating hues, including Rustic Brown, Iconic Grey, Café White, and Enticing Silver. The Toyota Rumion will be made available in three distinctive variants: S, G, and V. All of these variants will be equipped with the tried-and-true 1.5-liter four-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine from the Ertiga, delivering an impressive 103 PS of maximum power and 136.8 Nm of peak torque.
While a 5-speed manual transmission will serve as the standard offering across all three Toyota Rumion variants, the G and V variants will also grant the option for a 6-speed automatic transmission. Moreover, the S variant will go a step further by presenting a CNG version, providing 87.8 PS of maximum power and 121.5 Nm of peak torque in CNG mode, coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission.
