Genesis GV80 Price in india, Colours, Specs and MOre
Genesis GV80: With the release of the luxurious 2023 GV80, the Genesis brand has quickly become the most sought-after name in the luxury SUV market. But how do we know this? Why? Because instead of stopping to ask if it’s a Hyundai, folks are staring and wondering if it’s a Bentley. Given the GV80’s dignified exterior, stylish interior, and high-end cabin details, we understand if passengers become confused.
The base engine is a powerful turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 250 hp, while the top-tier vehicles get their power boost from a 3.5-liter V-6 with twin turbochargers. All GV80s include an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE-class, and the Volvo XC90 have all been in the luxury SUV market for quite some time, and they all follow Genesis’ formula of combining high-end materials with beautiful interior design and modern technological capabilities. To compete with the most popular SUVs in its class, Genesis was able to achieve a breakthrough with the GV80 by providing a degree of luxury that looks and feels like it should cost thousands more than it does.
What’s New for 2023?
For 2023, all GV80s will come standard with all-wheel drive, which means a significant rise in pricing compared to the 2022 model year. New standard features include a panoramic sunroof and ventilated seats for the 2.5T Advanced model, which is centred around the 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Color wheel newcomer Capri Blue has replaced Adriatic Blue. Prestige Matte remains, but now comes standard with Makalu Gray paint rather than Melbourne Gray and without the extra four-seat Prestige Signature trim that was available in previous years. In addition to the new oil life monitoring system that is standard on all models, the GV80’s infotainment knob, which is now located in the centre console, and its second-row cup holders have also been revised.

Engine, Transmission, and Performance
This luxury crossover SUV shares its platform with the G80 sedan and features all-wheel drive as standard equipment. The turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder starts at 300 horsepower, while the 375 horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 is the most powerful option and can reach 60 miles per hour in just 5.3 seconds. The GV80’s 6.1-second 60-mph time with the turbo four is disappointing, but many buyers likely won’t care. From our time behind the wheel of both GV80 trims, we can say that the new SUV has an athletic feel around corners and provides a quiet ride, but that those looking for more excitement should look elsewhere, perhaps to a Porsche Cayenne or an Audi SQ8.
Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG
The Environmental Protection Agency predicts that the four-cylinder GV80 vehicles will achieve 21 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway, while the V-6 models will achieve 18 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway. The V-6 version hasn’t been through our highway fuel-economy test at 75 mph, but the GV80 with the turbocharged four-cylinder lived up to its claim of 25 mpg highway.
Interior, Comfort, and Cargo
The GV80’s cabin is tastefully appointed with premium materials and modern touches, such as a huge slim-shaped touchscreen display, polished metal accents, and ambient lighting. In spite of the high-end materials used, the interior design exudes a simple elegance. A massage option is provided for the front seats, which is both effective and soothing. Up to five people can be seated in the second row on a normal three-across bench; a third row of chairs is available as an upgrade, but it’s cramped and should only be used for children. With the second row folded flat, the GV80 was able to accommodate 28 bags, including 13 carry-ons.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The GV80’s custom dashboard is dominated by a compact, 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen. Due to its distance from the driver’s seat, the touch-sensitive screen is likely to be used by the front-seat passenger to control the radio or the navigation system. To make things easier for the driver, a click-wheel controller has been installed in the centre console.
