Since the test mule wasn’t camouflaged, the spy photo shows that the facelift model will receive subtle exterior updates, such as a reworked front apron with a new sleeker grille and sharper headlamp units that blend with the new grille, with the chrome bits continuing onto the top portions of the headlamp units.

The 2017 Volkswagen Passat will be powered by the same BS6-compliant engine as the Tiguan Allspace: a 2.0-liter TSI (Turbocharged Stratified Injection) four-cylinder petrol motor producing 190 ps of power and 320 Nm of torque paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.

The new Volkswagen Passat, powered by a potent 2.0-liter TSI engine, would presumably be released by the end of 2020 or the beginning of 2021 at a price of roughly INR 35 lakh.

The word “Passat” is now badged into the trunk lid, just beneath the massive VW emblem.
