Tata ACE EV Makes Global Debut in Nepal

Tata Motors has taken a significant stride towards advancing sustainable mobility with the introduction of the groundbreaking Ace EV in Nepal. The launch of this innovative vehicle is made possible through Tata’s exclusive distributor in the region, Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd. The Ace EV represents a zero-emission, four-wheel small commercial vehicle (SCV) that aligns with environmentally conscious transportation practices. This eco-friendly and smart transport solution is poised to cater to a wide range of intra-city applications, offering a green alternative for businesses and individuals in Nepal. Tata Motors will provide dedicated 24×7 support and state-of-the-art Electric Vehicle Support Centres (EVSC) for the Ace EV fleet. The vehicle is equipped with a feature-rich telematics system for real-time vehicle tracking and efficient fleet management.

Tata Ace EV: Transforming logistics with a green, future-ready solution

The Ace EV stands out as the inaugural product featuring Tata Motors’ EVOGEN powertrain, boasting an impressive certified range of 154 kilometres. It offers secure, all-weather operation, thanks to its advanced battery cooling system and regenerative braking system, which significantly enhance the driving range. The vehicle is equipped for both regular and fast charging, ensuring minimal downtime. With a 27kW (36hp) motor delivering 130Nm of peak torque, it excels in cargo volume and achieves a remarkable grade-ability of 22%, facilitating effortless ascents even when fully loaded. The Ace EV’s cargo container is meticulously customized to meet the specific requirements of Nepal.
