The sub-compact SUV market is generating considerable excitement surrounding the upcoming 2023 Tata Nexon. A recent video, captured at night, offers a sneak peek at the interior of the refreshed Tata Nexon. The video spotlights two key elements within the cabin: the 360-degree camera system displayed on the new 10.25-inch infotainment screen and the all-digital instrument cluster. Beyond showcasing these contemporary features, the video reveals the premium ambiance of the cabin during nighttime driving.

The standout feature of the video is undoubtedly the new 10.25-inch infotainment screen, a significant upgrade from the smaller unit found in the previous model. This larger screen, borrowed from the Nexon EV Max, provides a wide-angle HD view and boasts an impressive 360-degree camera system—a feature typically reserved for more expensive vehicles. Among the other notable features of this advanced infotainment unit are wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Complementing the modern infotainment system is a contemporary all-digital instrument cluster, a substantial improvement over the outgoing model’s monochrome digital display. This high-definition display presents a wealth of information, including vehicle speed, engine RPM, fuel levels, and more. It is expected to offer customizable layouts and color schemes, enhancing the overall driving experience.

Alongside the refreshed cabin, the 2023 Tata Nexon facelift is set to introduce a new petrol engine choice. This upcoming model will feature an all-new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, promising an impressive power output of 125 PS and a peak torque of 225 Nm. Notably, the latter represents a substantial enhancement over the current engine’s performance. It is highly likely that Tata Motors will offer a dual-clutch automatic transmission with this engine variant. Meanwhile, for diesel enthusiasts, Tata will continue to provide the existing 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine, delivering a power output of 110 PS and a maximum torque of 260 Nm. Transmission options for the diesel engine will include a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).

New Nexon Launch Date

The 2023 Tata Nexon is set to make its debut on September 14th. While it doesn’t represent a generational shift, this second facelift brings significant improvements to the sub-4-meter SUV. Just as in the past, it will compete with the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Mahindra XUV300 in its segment.
