The new Tata Nexon is available at introductory prices ranging from Rs 8.10 lakh to Rs 13 lakh, ex-showroom. It’s worth noting that the price for the top diesel variant has not been disclosed at this time. In comparison, the previous model had a retail price ranging from Rs 8 lakh to Rs 14.60 lakh, ex-showroom. As such, the starting price has seen a modest increase of only Rs 10,000.

The new Nexon retains the same powertrain options as the previous model. This includes a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The turbo petrol engine produces 120 hp and 170 Nm of torque, while the diesel engine generates 115 hp and 260 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively. Both engines are available with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).
Notably, the petrol variant now offers a broader appeal by introducing a 5-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed automatic gearbox. Manual control enthusiasts will also appreciate the inclusion of paddle shifters. The variants for the new Nexon include Smart, Pure, Creative, and Fearless, with sub-variants offering optional features and a sunroof.
