The Buick Wildcat EV concept sets the stage for an exciting future of captivating models from the automaker.
While the Buick Wildcat EV remains a concept, its design will serve as a blueprint for forthcoming models by the car manufacturer. Appropriately, the concept takes center stage in a new video shared on the General Motors Design Instagram page, showcasing an animated depiction of the Wildcat EV on the road, exuding undeniable allure.
The video commences by featuring a woman entering a garage housing an array of Buick models, all of which possess a rather mundane appearance. As she navigates through the garage, the headlights of these vehicles gradually dim, symbolizing their departure from Buick’s lineup. Her path leads to a garage door that unveils the vibrant presence of a bright orange Wildcat EV. This unveiling represents the future of Buick.
Despite being an animated presentation, the video boasts intricate detail, rendering the concept’s presence in the garage and its dynamic journey on the open road remarkably realistic. If Buick were to craft a production car with the same level of allure as the Wildcat EV, its visual impact alone could guarantee its popularity.
The Buick Wildcat EV Concept was unveiled at the Detroit Motor Show in September of the previous year. A standout feature is its front end, characterized by a trapezoidal grille and sharply designed LED headlights. Intriguingly, the lights on the orange car in the clip appear slightly sleeker than those on the actual concept car, arguably enhancing its visual appeal.
Buick also lavished attention on the car’s interior, striving to create a distinct ambiance that departs from its existing production models. The driver is greeted by a streamlined three-spoke steering wheel adorned with bright silver accents and white leather. An expansive screen integrates the digital instrument cluster and the infotainment display. A third screen adorns the floating center console, completing the futuristic layout.
