Ford GT Price and Launch In India
The price of a Ford GT varies depending on the model year and condition of the vehicle. The original first-generation Ford GT, which was produced from 2004 to 2006, typically sells for between $250,000 to $500,000, depending on its condition, mileage, and rarity.
The second-generation Ford GT, which is still in production today, has a starting price of around $500,000, but many models sell for well over $1 million due to their limited production numbers and exclusivity.

Engine, Transmission, and Performance
When compared to its predecessor, the 2023 Ford GT will be equipped with numerous technological advancements. Ford is also replacing the standard car’s seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with a “proper racing gearbox” for the 800+ horsepower twin-turbo V-6. Multimatic’s DSSV (Dynamic Spool Valve) dampers have been replaced with an ASV (Adaptive Spool Valve) arrangement, and the chassis has been lengthened.
The GT’s enhanced power output should be more manageable on the track, where it can only be driven, thanks to the updated suspension, longer wheelbase, and center-lock wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport racing slicks. How quick it will be is unknown until we put it through certain tests. However, as a point of comparison, the basic 660-horsepower GT street vehicle we drove for the 2017 model year accelerated from 0-60 mph in as low as 3 seconds and completed the quarter-mile in 10.8 seconds at 134 mph.
Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG
The old 2022 Ford GT got 12 city mpg and 18 highway mpg from the EPA. The 2023 model probably won’t get an EPA rating because it won’t be road-legal.
Interior, Comfort, and Cargo
We anticipate the cabin of the 2023 GT to be even more sparse than the one seen in the present, street-legal GT variant. A roll cage, fire suppression system, racing seats, and safety harness are all possible included for its intended use on the racetrack.
