In 2021, on March 4th, Mini upgraded the Countryman and released it in India. There are two versions of the car: the Cooper S and the Cooper S JCW Inspired. The new Countryman is manufactured in BMW’s plant in Chennai, and it comes in a total of six different two-tone paint jobs.
The new Mini Countryman is only offered with a single engine choice: a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol unit that generates 189 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque. The two available drive modes are Sport and Green, each of which offers different performance characteristics.
The 2021 Mini Countryman’s exterior is highlighted by the following features: a black mesh grille, LED-powered circular headlights, fog lights, a contrast black roof, silver roof rails, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lights with a Union Jack design, a reworked rear bumper, and an integrated spoiler.
The interior of the Mini Countryman has a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a centre armrest for the second row, and automatic climate control. The JCW trim level includes a head-up display (HUD) and rear seats that can be adjusted for a customised driving experience.
