The 2022 Toyota C-exterior HR’s is full of character and visual appeal, but the vehicle’s characterless driving experience doesn’t do it justice. Each model has a slow-moving four-cylinder engine, a CVT, and front-wheel drive as standard equipment, with all-wheel drive being unavailable.
The C-HR has a very comfortable ride, but its excruciatingly slow acceleration means it’s not much fun on winding roads. The back seats are cramped, but the cabin is otherwise functional. The C-interior HR’s carries over some of its cheeky external design cues, such as the asymmetrical dashboard layout, glossy black accents, and textured headliner.
