MG G10: The MG brand of automobiles was originally manufactured in the United Kingdom. In the 1920s, it was established by Cecil Kimber. The M.G. Car Company Limited, based in Britain, was responsible for popularising the M.G. name. Morris Garages, William Morris’s auto repair shop and retail outlet in Oxford, was the seedbed for the MG automobile brand in the 1920s. In July of 1930, a separate M.G. Car Company Limited was merged with the larger one. Before Morris sold it to Morris Motors Ltd. on July 1, 1935, it was his own property. Cecil Kimber, the company’s manager, swapped out the Morris Oxford for the ordinary model and upped the number of MG Super Sports on the front licence plate.
