The Maruti Suzuki New Eeco’s most notable upgrade is the more powerful and fuel-efficient 1.2L Advanced K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine. Increased by 10%, the new engine produces 59.4kW (80.76 PS) @6000rpm and 104.4Nm@3000rpm of power and torque, respectively (for petrol variants).

The New Eeco’s fuel efficiency has increased by 25% in the gasoline version, to a maximum of 20.20 km/l, and by 29% in the S-CNG version, to a maximum of 27.05 km/kg.
