Maruti Ciaz Exteriors

Outside, the Ciaz looks very similar to the Ciaz concept displayed at India’s 2014 Auto Expo. It’s intimidating in a way that seems both sophisticated and forceful. It has very distinctive body lines compared to previous Maruti offerings in India. Big, sweeping headlights are standard, with projectors standard on the top-tier ZXi+ and ZDi+ models. The lines etched onto the bonnet give it a more commanding presence.

The car’s side profile gives off an aggressive and aerodynamic vibe. It also has electrically adjustable and folding exterior rearview mirrors.

Large alloy wheels with subtly sculpted wheel arches on the sides give the vehicle a lot of personality. Two distinct lateral body lines are visible. Chrome is used for exterior door knobs and window frames.

The mix of taillights and turn signals at the back are modern and elegant. The back end of these people appears like it was expertly carved and constructed. The design of the bumper in the back is also very appealing. Despite the fact that it looks quite upscale from behind, we’re disappointed that Maruti didn’t keep the twin-pipe exhausts from the Ciaz Concept.

Maruti Ciaz Interiors

A sophisticated beige and black colour scheme decorates the inside. Stereo controls on the steering wheel are a classic Suzuki design element, but placing them all on one side of the wheel makes the vehicle look a little bare. With two analogue dials, a multi-information display, and various indicators, the instrument cluster is both spacious and legible.

There appears to be plenty of room for passengers, including those with longer legs. It looks like the seats are narrow but comfortable. There are air conditioning vents, a foldable arm rest, and built-in head restraints for the two back passengers.

Premium models feature a touch-enabled infotainment system and an automatic climate control system. For the front seat passenger and driver, there is an arm rest, however it is awkwardly placed on top of the rear air conditioning vents.

The back air conditioning vents are a nice touch, especially since they conceal a little storage area and a 12-volt power outlet. The armrest in the centre of the front seat folds down to conceal a storage area beneath the air vents. The Ciaz’s interior is competitive with respect to the class standard.
