Volkswagen Virtus: New Matte Edition, Price Hike, and Offers! Everything You Need to Know
Volkswagen is ushering in the festive season with updates and improvements to its Virtus sedan and Taigun SUV models. The Topline and GT Plus variants of both models now feature front powered seats and footwell illumination. Moreover, the GT Plus variants have been enhanced with the addition of sub-woofers and amplifiers. With these enhancements, the prices of the updated Volkswagen Virtus and Taigun variants have been adjusted, with increases ranging from Rs 19,000 to Rs 36,000.
Prices Hiked
In addition, specific Virtus variants have been subject to price adjustments of up to Rs 4,000. The Virtus sedan is available in six different trims, including Comfortline, Highline, Topline, GT, GT Plus, and GT Edge Limited Edition. Among these, the Highline trim has seen a price increase of Rs 4,000, while the GT variants have seen a modest price adjustment of Rs 1,000. Importantly, the pricing for all other variants remains unchanged.
New Matte Edition
The Volkswagen Virtus GT Plus Matte Edition is currently priced at Rs 17.61 lakh for the manual version and Rs 19.28 lakh for the DSG variant. This special edition commands a premium of approximately Rs 40,000 over the regular GT Plus variant. Please note that all prices mentioned are ex-showroom.
The Virtus GT Plus Matte Edition stands out with several notable enhancements compared to the standard model. It showcases a captivating Dark Matte Grey exterior finish and comes equipped with cherry red leatherette upholstery, aluminum pedals, and stylish red ambient lighting in the cabin.
The special edition is powered by a 150bhp, 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine, which is offered with both manual and DSG automatic gearboxes. It’s worth mentioning that the Virtus GT Plus Matte Edition is exclusively available for online bookings, and deliveries will be arranged on a first-come, first-served basis in the coming days. Only a limited number of units of this special edition will be available for sale across the country.
