Nissan Magnite AMT and Kuro Edition: Here’s What You Need to Know

Nissan has introduced two highly anticipated models in India – the Magnite AMT (EZ-Shift) and the Magnite Kuro Edition. The pricing for these vehicles will be unveiled on October 7th and October 12th, 2023, respectively.

The Magnite AMT will be equipped with a 1.0-liter petrol engine that generates 71bhp and 96Nm of torque. This automatic gearbox option will be available across all four trims: XE, XL, XV, and XV Premium. Additionally, the Magnite lineup also offers a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine paired with a CVT transmission.

The Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition showcases a sleek all-black design theme both inside and out. Its exterior features include a blacked-out grille with matching surrounds, black accents in the headlamps, and a black skid plate. The sporty appearance is enhanced by blacked-out alloy wheels with red brake calipers and door handles. Inside the cabin, the Kuro Edition presents a black theme on various elements, including the steering wheel, door trims, AC vent surrounds, roof liner, and sun visors.

Based on the top-end XV trim, this special edition offers a range of comfort features, including an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, voice recognition control, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, steering-mounted TFT meter control, a rearview camera with parking guidelines, rear seat armrest cupholders, driver seat height adjustment, keyless entry and start, a 360-degree camera system, a 6-speaker audio system, and rear AC vents.

The Nissan Magnite Kuro Edition will be available with both the 1.0-liter petrol and 1.0-liter turbo petrol engines, producing 72bhp with 96Nm of torque and 100bhp with 160Nm of torque, respectively. It can be paired with any of the available gearbox options.

Regarding pricing, the Magnite Kuro Edition is expected to be positioned slightly above the regular model, which is priced between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 10.86 lakh (ex-showroom). Nationwide bookings for the Kuro Edition are now open.
