Tata Safari Facelift Spied
The updated 2024 Tata Safari has been seen during testing. This updated version of the vehicle was inspired by the Harrier EV that debuted at Expo’23.
The impending SUV refresh, as seen in the spy photos, will feature significant modifications. The redesign will be the primary emphasis of the makeover. That’s why the nose reminds you of the Harrier EV that was on display at Expo’23. In other words, the aesthetic choices made for the Tata EV concept will be used in the production version. Those who saw Harrier EV at Expo’23 had nothing but praise for the vehicle. All because of the strong, angular style and the high placement of the bonnet. The new look extends to the front fascia’s grille, headlights, and daytime running lights.
Meanwhile, from the side, it appears to be virtually identical to the existing version. The alloy wheels, though, are reminiscent of the Harrier EV’s. Rearward, the LED taillights from the previous generation were recycled without any changes. But, given that it is still a prototype, it is possible that these, too, will undergo a change. As a result, additional outside modifications may be made to the final design. Moreover, improvements to the inside are planned. Keep in mind that the ADAS-equipped Safari was just released by Tata with updated interiors. But, it’s possible that the dashboard and steering wheel designs will be updated as part of the refresh.
It will continue to be available with the same transmission and engine choices from Tata. Nonetheless, it has been said that Tata is working on a gasoline engine for the Harrier and Safari. This turbo-petrol engine might therefore make its debut alongside the introduction of the updated model. A 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine is being designed specifically for the SUV pair. This will rectify the problem of both SUVs not offering gasoline engines.
Competitive pressure has been mounting on Tata Safari from its contemporaries. The Mahindra XUV700 and the MG Hector are both formidable rivals. A choice between a gasoline and diesel engine is offered for both of these automobiles. As a result, the revamped Safari will help solidify the app’s reputation even further. We anticipate a release date in the first half of 2024 for the revised version. The new model is projected to cost several thousand dollars more than the present one.
