Although Hyundai has not yet announced the Ioniq 6’s price, we anticipate it to be slightly more than the Ioniq 5. According to CarandDriver, the next 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 6 will cost anywhere from $44,000 for the base model to $54,000 for the top-spec option.

2023 Hyundai Ioniq 6 Performance And Capability
Driving an EV is quite similar to operating a go-kart or golf cart because there is no gearbox or gears. On the other hand, this is not a golf cart. The Ioniq 6 clearly prioritises performance, as evidenced by its impressive numerical specifications. The automobile has the potential to be both entertaining and useful.
In no way is the Hyundai Ioniq a dull or sluggish vehicle. The Ioniq 6 will be supplied with either a single or dual motor configuration, both of which will use the standard battery pack capacity of 77.4 kWh. Although Hyundai hasn’t provided us with official specs for the base model yet, we should expect the single-motor form to have roughly 225 horsepower, just as the Ioniq 5.
The AWD model’s dual-motor arrangement generates 320 hp (239 kW) and 446 lb-ft of torque, which is more than sufficient. Performance-wise, Hyundai claims 5.1 seconds to 60 mph with the all-wheel drive option, which is excellent for an EV in this class.
This vehicle has the potential to be a driver’s car thanks to its rear-wheel-drive configuration, but its all-wheel-drive system makes it highly practical. All-wheel drive is suggested for all-season use and is available as an option. Since there is no engine in an EV, there is also no differential or drive shaft; instead, there is a collection of motors that reduces wear and tear on the vehicle and improves its dependability.
The dual-motor version should have a range of about 310 miles, while the single-motor version should provide closer to 350 miles. Once again, the EPA has not yet tested and confirmed these numbers. Support for 800-volt ultra-fast charging allows for a full charge from 0 to 80 percent in approximately 18 minutes in select Hyundai and KIA EV models.
Tire prices are something to think about if you’re buying an Ioniq 6 (or any EV). Special tyres designed to support the weight of electric vehicles are required, and they come at a high price. Remember that while you consider purchasing this automobile. Even while you won’t have to spend as much money on routine maintenance like oil and differential fluid changes, you’ll still need to buy tyres and coolant.

As expected from Hyundai, the Ioniq 6 has a gorgeous exterior that continues the brand’s neo-retro futuristic design language. The Ioniq 5’s more curvaceous appearance is a departure from its predecessor’s boxy look. Although not all people appreciate the design, it certainly stands out. In either case, it’s a car that commands attention. The Ioniq 6’s distinctive appearance is ushered in by its front air dam, which is, of course, all for show. The large headlights have a three-jewel pattern. There is a cluster of LEDs serving as turn signals just below the headlights; they are also emblazoned with the Ioniq logo’s distinctive pixels.
Similarities can be seen between the Elantra and Sonata, both of which are produced by Hyundai, and the car’s front end design. When viewed from the side, the design is reminiscent of the Elantra but with a sportier coupe vibe. Massive, geometrically-designed 20-inch wheels set the tone. The wheels’ black and silver details add a sporty touch. The door handles are flush with the body, which is wonderful for aerodynamic efficiency and also gives the vehicle a more upscale look and feel.
A massive, end-to-end LED light strip is displayed at the tail. Above the headlights, the Hyundai insignia sits over the spoiler and rearview camera, and the lights themselves spell out “IONIQ 6.” In general, this vehicle showcases cutting-edge design and aesthetics. We believe it looks wonderful, but we acknowledge that its unique design may not appeal to everyone. It’s unlike any other electric vehicle on the market.

Interior Quality And Design
The Hyundai Ioniq 6’s cabin is as cutting-edge and forward-thinking as the rest of the car. You may select from four different hues. Black with light brown, dark olive green with light grey, and so on. The instrument cluster and centre stack each have a 12.3-inch display for gauges and media. Screens replace traditional rearview mirrors in international markets as well.
You can feel the openness of the car’s interior thanks to the vent that stretches the entire length of the dashboard. Standard features include a heating/cooling system that may be set for two separate areas. There is also ambient lighting inside, which adapts to the current speed and status of the car. The Bose Premium sound system’s aluminium speaker grills are a really pleasant touch.
There isn’t a Hyundai emblem on the wheel. Instead, it has the Morse Code symbol for “H”—four dots. The glass roof lets in plenty of natural light, but it doesn’t make its way to the rear seats. The seats have a standard design and what appear to be Volvo-style headrests.
The rear is spacious and has comfortable seating for three adults on a floor that is fully flat. A regular wall socket is included under each seat, so you can charge your electronics without having to remove them. The vehicle’s rear passengers also have access to USB charging connections. Additional colour is introduced to the door panel by a huge speaker with an aluminium front, and there is also additional ambient lighting. We wished the glass roof continued all the way back to illuminate the rear passengers. Hyundai has not made any formal statements regarding the cabin materials, size, or customization possibilities.
