Upcoming Cars Under 10 lakh In 2023
Manufacturers are getting ready to release some very interesting new products in the coming year as we near the end of yet another year. In 2023, a wide variety of new automobiles will be introduced, but for the time being, let’s narrow our attention to those that cost less than 10 lakh. Let’s check out the cars that will be available for less than Rs 10 lakh in January of 2023.
Upcoming cars 2023 – Citroen C3 EV
The C3 EV, an electric version of Citroen’s base-model hatchback, will be available in the near future. The C3 EV has been observed in testing, and we know that it will include a charging connector on the right front fender. A 30 kWh battery pack gives this eCMP-based EV a range of about 200 kilometers in the real world is possible. To compete with the Tata Tiago EV, prices are predicted to begin around Rs 10–11lakh (ex-showroom). Is this something you’d rather have than the Tata? Leave a comment below and tell us!
Maruti Swift
In 2022, Maruti released a number of fantastic new products to much fanfare. In all likelihood, it will keep up its rapid development by updating its Swift. One of the most popular Maruti cars, the Swift is also renowned for its impressive handling. More features are expected to be included in the next-generation model while the vehicle’s signature ease of operation remains unchanged. It will most likely make its debut in Europe before making a wider debut sometime in the following year. It will cost more than the current third-generation model because of the additional features.
Upcoming cars 2023 -Maruti Baleno Cross
An SUV variant of the premium hatchback Baleno is on the way from India’s largest automaker. In addition to typical SUV features like high ground clearance and body armor, it will also have a split headlight configuration, a tapering roofline reminiscent of a coupe, and an integrated spoiler. One might expect the 1.0-liter turbo petrol (100 hp/150 Nm of torque) engine and 5-speed manual transmission to remain under the hood. This transmission and engine combination was first seen in the Baleno RS. The Baleno Cross could begin at a premium of Rs 8 lakh over the Baleno hatchback.
MG Air EV
Perhaps an MG ‘Kei’ model will be the company’s first electric vehicle for the Indian market. A “Kei” car is a small vehicle typically driven in urban areas. The Wuling Air EV, which is already on the market in Indonesia, serves as a strong inspiration for this proposed new model. However, the structure’s aesthetics and technical details would be modified to better fit India’s climate. This model will serve as MG’s entry-level offering and is anticipated to be the smallest car available in India. Since this EV would feature Tata AutoComp’s locally produced battery components, we can expect it to cost around Rs10 lakh.
Upcoming cars 2023 -Honda WR-V
Just recently, the WR-V from Japanese automaker Toyota was revealed. The Indian release date for this new model has not yet been set, but it is already available in Asian markets. If we consider the SUV-dominated market, however, Honda will need to introduce this small SUV if it wants to increase its sales. Should it be introduced to the Indian market, it would compete with vehicles like the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and others in the subcompact SUV class. A 1.5-liter gasoline engine producing 119 bhp and 145 Nm of torque powers the WR-V offered in the South Asian market. However, only a continuously variable transmission (CVT) is offered. Possibly beginning at Rs 9 lakh, the Indian-market version will offer both manual and automatic transmissions.
