Upgrade Your Ride: 2023 Tata Harrier & Safari Facelift with a Bigger Touchscreen

Tata Motors is currently testing the updated Harrier and Safari models in India, and spy photos of the SUVs’ rear ends have been circulating online. The 2023 Tata Harrier and Safari are expected to be showcased for the first time at the 2023 Auto Expo in January. These updated models are likely to feature improved exterior and interior features, including advanced driver-assistive and safety technology like Automatic Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

The updated models could also have a larger touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as more advanced connectivity capabilities, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, climate control, an upgraded instrument cluster, a steering wheel with mounted controls, a power tailgate, power front seats, and a 360-degree camera, among other options.

The exterior of the Tata Harrier and Safari could see updates like a new front grille, updated headlights and Daytime Running Lights, a reworked front bumper, a subtly revised rear profile, restyled alloy wheels, and more. However, there may be no changes to the powertrain’s efficiency or mechanical features.

Rumours have been circulating about electric versions of the Harrier, but no official confirmation has been made yet. The Harrier and Safari are currently powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that produces 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a six-speed manual transmission and can be upgraded to an automatic transmission with the same number of gears.
