Mercedes Benz Classic Car Rally 2022
The famous Mercedes-Benz Classic Car Rally (MBCCR) in Asia is now closed to new entrants. More evidence that there is growing interest in vintage Mercedes-Benz vehicles in the country is the large number and speed with which entries were submitted. The Taj Lands End in Bandra, Mumbai is hosting the eighth annual rally on November 19 and 20.
Since its inception in 2014, this gathering has stoked a renewed passion for vintage Mercedes among collectors all throughout the United States. Every year, more and more vintage Mercedes-Benz models are brought back to life and showcased at this event; this year, every version of the C-Class, E-Class, and SL-Class, as well as every generation of the S-Class, are represented.
The bulk of the vehicles at this year’s event has just undergone extensive restoration. Allan Almeida, a renowned Mumbai-based restoration, has completed an impressive six rare antique Mercedes-Benzes in the past year. Shortlisted participants in the MBCCR will shortly hear from the event’s organizers.
Bandra Pantry at Bandstand, which is on the route of the MBCCR 2022, will also host a viewing gallery for the event. On the big day, while enjoying your coffee and healthy foods at the gallery, keep an eye on this section for information on a contest that could give you a first-row seat.
