A 153-horsepower 2.0-liter gasoline engine and a 183-horsepower 2.0-liter diesel engine are also available for the Tucson. Both the gasoline and diesel engines are automatic, with the former coupled to a six-speed transmission and the latter to an eight-speed unit. Only the top-tier diesel variant is offered with all-wheel drive.

The new Hyundai Tucson’s cabin is exceptionally secure because it is built on the N3 platform, which is in its fourth generation. Using AHSS (Advanced High Strength Steel) and HSS (High Strength Steel) and a liberal dose of hot-stamping, the new Hyundai Tucson boasts a sturdy body structure. In addition, it has Level 2 ADAS capability with Hyundai SmartSense.

According to Hyundai, the goal of the sixth annual Great India Drive 2022 is to showcase the thrilling and cutting-edge experience of driving the newest Hyundai Tucson, not just to check off places on a list.

“We are thrilled to embark on the 6th edition of the Great India Drive 2022 with the all-new Hyundai Tucson,” said Mr. Unsoo Kim, MD & CEO, of Hyundai Motor India Ltd (HMIL) when asked about the drive. It is our intention to achieve some truly remarkable benchmarks this year as we continue to set new standards with our Smart Mobility Solutions.
