Raize the Sub-4 Meter Compact SUV

Raize / Toyota Raize – It is truly a Compact SUV for Toyota’s first time. It is already revealed in Japan on 5th November 2019. It is the successor of the Toyota Rush. It was earlier showcased at Tokyo Motor-show 2019.

Toyota is offering Raize, a sub-4 meter, for the Japanese market. Toyota’s sub-4 meter will be based on new-generation Vitara Brezza for the Indian market and will going to be launched in the year 2022.

Its length is quite similar to the Maruti Brezza, made by Daihatsu. It will be powered by a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine with an automatic CVT. It has a digital instrument cluster with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment.

Raize is coming with 11 color options. It consists of Black Mica Metallic, Shining White Pearl, Bright Silver Metallic, Natural Beige Mica Metallic, Fire Quartz Red Metallic, Mustard Yellow Mica Metallic, Laser Blue Crystal Shine and Turquoise Blue Mica Metallic. Also get Silver/Black, White/Black, and Turquoise Blue /Black.

Toyota Raize poses features like a Toyota-like-front-end design, rear-end design, with headlamp design and dimensions being similar to the Daihatsu Rocky. In interior designing, it will get silver inserts, a floating touchscreen, driver-tilled air-con vents and has 369 liters of boot space.

However, in its Indian specification. the Raize could get Maruti Suzuki engines due to the joint venture between Toyota and Maruti Suzuki. The resulting entity is called Maruti Suzuki Toyotsu India Private Limited and it will be responsible for dismantling and procuring cars that are not capable to run on public roads.

Toyota always had different theories for India in launching their vehicles. They may be keeping in mind Indian policy regarding electric and diesel vehicles.
