Morris Garages (MG) will unveil their Electric Vehicle ZS in India 

MG ZS Electric Vehicle – As the people showing positive outlook towards Hector SUV – its first product for Indian market. MG Motor India is moving ahead with its new strategies for the expansion of its product portfolio in the country.

Before listing the MG ZS EV on its Indian website this week, MG Motor India is launching the new electric SUV and the MG ZS EV will be unveiled. This new electric offering is supposed to shoot up the market while the first quarter of 2020. Bookings are also beginning in December this year.

Although, details about the MG ZS EV are not out for the Indian market. But it is expected that India –spec ZS EV is of 150hp electric motor and a 44.5k lithium-ion battery having capacity of delivering a claimed range of 335km on the older NEDC test cycle and 262km on the newer WLTP testing procedure.

The lithium-ion unit is expected to charge up to 80 percent within 40 minutes with a 50KW DC charger, or for 100% charging, it will take 7 hours with a standard 7 KW charger.

For making pricing more competitive, we can expect the price of MG ZS EV for India around 22 lakh (ex-showroom). In this segment, Hyundai Kona Electric will only give cut throat competition to ZS EV with price tag of Rs 25.3 lakh.

Will MG ZS EV Push the Indian Auto Electric Market?

It will be very interesting to see, How India Automotive market will be pushed after getting one more big vehicle in the Category of Electric Vehicles. And Generate the sales like MG-Hector. MG Hector is doing great sale after its launching in India.

According to the announcement, retail outlets will be limited to Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Ahemdabad. Further outlets may be increased. When Charging station will increase.
